I am posting a new trick that will help those who have purchased a BSNL 3G usb modem and want to switch to other networks.
BSNL 3G modem(teracom lw272/lw273) comes with software lock.You can unlock this by editing the registry settings.
Just follow these simple tricks and enjoy browsing using other network sim.
Click On START....Than click on RUN....Write "regedit".....
than....
Locate the following registry entry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Linktop3G
Double click on Engineer than change the value data 1 to 0 and it's done.
Create new connection profile for your preferred operator like Airtel-MTNL-VODAFONE etc.
make it as default and connect...
